Less than Container Load (LCL) vs Full Container Load (FCL)

While we are talking about the Full Container Load (FCL) and Less Than Container Load (LCL) , the major point to keep in mind is that the beneficial one is to consider the FCL , mainly when the container is filled to the 50-65 %  in the 20 foot shipping container which is approximately 28 CBM. It is because you may end up paying the same price as you would for the full container.

Next important thing is :  a 40-foot container usually costs 20-25% more than a 20-foot container while offering double the volume. So you can easily tell which one you are going to choose.

Not only this , there are downsides relating to the security of your products when shipping by LCL to Amazon. What this means is that  your carton boxes are likely to mix up with other LCL shippers as the container is to be opened multiple times by shipping carriers and customs. This definitely creates the greater risk of your goods being damaged, lost or delayed. Additionally , in case your goods don’t sell, you are going to lose your money spent on warehousing, storage, and the product itself.
